Get Started

Applicants interested in using our services are encouraged to come by our office to complete an Inquiry Form. No appointment is necessary. We are open Monday–Friday, 8am to 5pm. If responding to a posted job announcement, please contact the Staffing Supervisor indicated in the posting.

The Inquiry Form is valid for 30 days. During this time, if Anderson & Associates has a position that matches your skills and experience, one of our Staffing Supervisors will contact you to schedule an interview.

What to Bring to an Interview:

  1. Employment history from your last FOUR positions (name of employer and the contact information, job titles, dates of employment, wage/salary information).
  2. Two government-issued forms of identification. The two most common forms of submitted identification are a Driver's License and Social Security Card. For additional information about acceptable forms of identification click here to see I-9 PDF - acceptable forms of identification
  3. We also recommend that you bring a resume although it is not a requirement for registering with our service.

Checking In After the Interview:
Employee candidates are encouraged to check in once a week. Candidates may call 530-891-1955 to check in.

Selection and Hiring Process:
After completing the interview process applicants go into a general pool for the type of work that they are seeking. Being accepted for this pool does not guarantee employment.

Direct-Hire Placement:
Applicants’ skills and experience are compared and matched to the essential functions of positions listed with our office.  Candidates are then referred for interviews with prospective employers.

Temporary Assignments:
Our office contacts applicants whose skills and experience match the essential tasks of temporary assignments.  In most cases, it is not necessary to interview with an employer before starting a temporary assignment.  Temporary employees are Anderson & Associates employees and weekly payroll is processed in our office.  Employees will track their hours on an Anderson & Associates timecard and have the client company verify their hours by signing the timecard before turning it in to our office at the end of each week.
