What are your hours of operation? Are you open during the lunch hour?
We are open Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. We do not close during the lunch hour.
If I have never been into Anderson & Associates, what is the first step for searching for a job? May I submit a resume?
All applicants are welcome to come into our office during our normal hours of operation. (8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.) You may fill out an Inquiry Form to begin the initial registration process, and you may submit a resume with the form.
I have already submitted an Inquiry Form. What should I do next?
Inquiry Forms remain active for 30 days. During this time a Staffing Supervisor will contact you if you are a good candidate for a current opening. If you do not hear from a Staffing Supervisor within 30 days, please come into our office to fill out another form. You may also call to check in once a week during the first 30 days.
Who pays your fees?
Anderson & Associates, Inc. is paid by the employer. There is no fee to the employee.
What should I bring when I come into your office for an interview?
If you have an interview, please bring two identification documents with you. Two common examples are a Driver's License and Social Security Card. For a more detailed list of acceptable documents click here.
What should I wear to an interview?
We recommend you arrive to your interview professionally dressed for the field which you are applying.
Is it appropriate to wear perfume / cologne to an interview?
Please do not wear perfume or cologne to your interview.
Do I need to bring my employment history when I come in for an interview?
It is recommended you bring in your work history including the contact names and numbers, and also a list of references.
How often should I check in?
After your interview you may check in once a week. A binder is kept at the front desk where your call will be recorded. Please be prepared to tell the front desk your contact in our office, the type of work you are looking for, and the best way to contact you.
Will I be considered for other openings in your office, or just the one I applied for?
Completing an application and being interviewed places you in a general pool for the type of work that you are seeking.
How long does it take for me to get placed on an assignment?
The length of time for being placed on an assignment varies. Often the availability of open positions combined with candidate work experience determines the amount of time it takes to be placed in a position.
